INTEGRITY – FRIENDSHIP – RESPECT – SERVICE

Chipping Norton Masonic Hall

The iconic Masonic Hall in Chipping Norton is a purpose-built hall, whose foundation stone was laid on May 15th, 1898. Over the years it has had many sympathetic updates, and it wasn’t until 1972 that it needed to be brought further up to date in line with fire regulations. Since then, it also benefits from a stair lift as well as a defibulator located outside the front door of the hall, which was donated by the former Chipping Norton Lions.

Lodges at the Masonic Hall

The Masonic Hall is currently home to 2 lodges Bowyer and Evenlode & Norton which where originally 2 lodges but merged to form one. The lodge has seen many celebrations and events over the years, and along with raising many Freemasons through the ranks to become Master Masons.
