CHIPPING NORTON FREEMASONS

INTEGRITY – FRIENDSHIP – RESPECT – SERVICE

The Three past master jewels which date back to 1953 were discovered in a local auction house by a keen-eyed member of the lodge.

The medals were originally awarded to Wor. Bro. H.G. Lord, of Bowyer Lodge, Wor. Bro. D. Dexter of Evenlode Lodge and W. Bro. G.C. Harris of Norton Lodge.

About Past Master Jewels

Masonic Past Master Jewels hold a significant and symbolic role within the Freemasonry tradition, signifying the esteemed position of a Past Master in a Masonic Lodge. These jeweled emblems are typically worn with pride by those who have successfully served their term as the Lodge’s Master. Crafted with meticulous attention to detail, these jewels often feature intricate Masonic symbols, such as the square and compass, set within a distinguished design. The Past Master Jewel is a tangible representation of the wisdom, leadership, and dedication exemplified by those who have guided their fellow Masons with honour and integrity. Beyond their ornamental value, these jewels serve as a reminder of the shared principles and teachings that unite Freemasons throughout their Masonic journey.
